Inadequate Alkali Resistance
Color fading and overall worsening of paint surface on new concrete walls.

Possible causes:
Top coat (oil based or water based) was applied to a new concrete walls before allowing the surface to cure itself. A new concrete contains high level of alkaline which if not cured completely will attact the paint film above it. Solution: Let the concrete wall to be cured for at least 30 days (ideally 1 year) before painting. Apply primer anti-alkaline, PERMASEALERŪ, before applying the top coat. Then, apply top quality full acrylic paint PERMACOATŪ.
